In an effort to remove snow from the heavy-laden branches of our trees at 10pm last night, Big-G got into a fight with a feisty rake. 
The rake won.
The rake won.We went to the hospital. He got 5 stitches on top and 5 on bottom. I'm just grateful his eyeball is okay! He's feeling alright today, but his eye looks terrible. The first picture is of last night and the second is of this morning.

Oh man! You poor thing...it looks painful! Hope it feels better soon.
yeah, i think the rake won! oh that looks awful. hopefully it gets better soon!
