Ragnar Wasatch Back

Back in June, Greg and I and our team ran 191 miles from Logan to Park City, Utah through the mountains along with thousands of other people. It was fun and challenging and exhausting. Each team member had to run three legs of the race ranging in length from 3 to 10 miles each. Mine were 7, 8 and 3 miles. It took us 34 hours 50 minutes.

Here we are after our van finished. Top LtoR Kim Mitchell, Kelly Smith (my sis), Renee Scheidell, Ronda Kessler. Bottom: Shawna Maynes, me

Here we are with our "van". We were proud of our decorations. (Although I can't take any credit for them) We even had lights around the top for nighttime!
Van 2 had Greg, Steve and Dave Page (his uncles), Ian Hoag and Daniel and Tiffney Anderson. On Dan's final leg of the race (a 3 mile steeeeep hill in the heat of the day) he collapsed yards from the finish line and had to be taken to the hospital for severe dehydration. When our final runner came in to the finish, most of Van 1 had gone home and Dan and Tiffney were in the hospital, so this is what the group at the finish line looked like:

LtoR: Ian, me, Greg, Kelly, Dave, Steve
Once we finished our festivities at the finish line, we went to pick up Dan and Tiffney from the hospital. He was doing much better after having some IV fluids pumped into his body.
The Van 2 group minus Ian. Dan's in the hoodie and Tiff is with him.
Me and my good friend, Tiff.  :)
We took them home and went to bed very very early. :)

Seriously so impressed! Well done to all of you.
Also could Uncle Dave's legs be any whiter?

I was hoping you would post something about Ragnar. Thanks. I think Dan is okay now, but it took awhile.
