Day 11: Got up early and went to "the farm" to help out. It really is quite beautiful!

Day 12: helped at the farm again and then went to visit Kelly and baby Finley at the hospital. (Yes, Kelly gave birth on Monday while we were working at the farm)Isn't Finley just the most beautiful baby you ever did see?!

Day 13: Re-grouped. Took the kids swimming and welcomed Kelly and Finley home from the hospital. Cousins played together. Packed.
Day 14: Left early for Memphis to see Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Winston. Uncle Winston is quite the chef these days. He made us spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and salad and homemade cookies with ice cream for dessert! He's doing pretty well for 95! Aunt Dorothy is inhibited by her neuropathy, so Uncle Winston has taken over the kitchen. :) I sure do love them.

After leaving Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Winston, we drove to St. Louis to stay the night. We got there early enough to take a tour of the St. Louis Arch.Day 15: Left St. Louis and drove to Omaha. We met our friends Brian and Lacey and their two cute kids at Dragon Cafe (our favorite Chinese food from when we lived there!). We stayed that night with B&L and stayed up late visiting and catching-up. Our kids played so well together and it was like we never left! Wish we lived closer to each other!
Day 17: Drove home (using every last bit of gas in our tank) having driven a total of 4,650ish miles.
This concludes vacation road-trip 2010. It was so so wonderful! I didn't want it to end. Thank you to everyone who let us stop in and visit. We loved every minute of every visit!
